Indo Pak conflict- rising passions and rising tensions
The recent incidents at the Indo-Pak border situation seems to be create a serious conflict between the countries as well their citizens.
As per the reports and "evidence" available Pakistan soldiers seemed to have done a heinous act against the Indian soldiers. Now it is rising passions among Indian citizens as well as netizens to draw blood on their counterparts.
But do we get reports of Indian military personnel killing Pakistan soldiers or they are hidden? Do we get reports on Indian soldiers killing Indian civilians in Kashmir, Chattisgarh etc? Are they acceptable to us?
Time and again governments in the Indian sub-continent (India, Pakistan, SriLanka) as well other countries, continents and globe used the inter-country conflict as an opportunity to incite and initiate war and therefore divert attention from the rotten problems the government faces.
Lets reflect a few months before now: we had anti-corruption movement, we had rape problem so on so forth.
Indira Gandhi used this ploy. Vajapayee used this for Kargil conflict. If we reflect Kargil war corruption issue- housing scam, equipment purchase scam- we can definitely not feel that Indian Military is never innocent.
Military/ Army is never innocent. They are trained to be agressive. They are trained to kill the so called "enemy". Killing is their Raison d'ĂȘtre. They also have to prove their existence within their organisation as we need to prove ours in an organisation, society, a social network etc.
I am not saying that Pak soldiers are innocent. But to assume Indian soldiers are innocent and law binding is again an innocent act by ourselves- as military plays dangerous games with us: Indo-Pak-Bangla war, Kargil war or Peacke keeping mission in Srilanka!
Surely I am not alone in voicing this perception!
